  4. I'm running a character in a game being run on the Ilink network, on the
  5. Roleplay conference.  Most of the other players are in the USA, and
  6. there is no provision for private mail within Ilink, though a few people
  7. do have Internet access.
  8.  
  9. It's a very free-form game, with no formal rules.  Things have been
  10. running for about five hours game-time, and my character joined the game
  11. in mid-February RL-time.  The game I'm involved in is running in a
  12. Shadowrun-style universe, though many of the characters have arrived via
  13. an interdimensional gate.  Player-characters currently include a
  14. cybertank, a mecha-jockey, a couple of 'morphs, and a modified
  15. Terminator.

  17. Two vital rules.
  18.  
  19. 1) Don't abuse somebody else's character without permission.
  20.  
  21. 2) No Ronco Pocket-Gods.
  22.  
  23. It can be very slow when you're talking to another character, and what
  24. I've seen of combat works erratically.  Something however is looming,
  25. and things could get very lively soon.
